What's welcome on Veenue, and what isn't.

Community Guidelines

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Veenue is about showing up for each other. These guidelines apply to everything people share on Veenue: profiles, posts, comments, polls, photos, ratings, plans and event listings.

Be real

  • Use your real name and your own photos.
  • Don't pretend to be another person, organizer or brand.
  • Only rate events you actually attended, and keep reviews honest.

Be respectful

  • No harassment, bullying, threats or targeting of individuals.
  • No hate speech or discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar characteristic.
  • Disagree about an event if you like, but don't attack the people behind it.

Keep it safe

  • No content that encourages violence, self-harm or dangerous activities.
  • No sexual content involving minors, ever. We report it to the authorities.
  • No sexually explicit content, and no graphic violence.
  • Don't share other people's private information (phone numbers, addresses, ID documents) without their permission.

No scams or spam

  • Don't sell fake tickets, or sell or offer tickets outside Veenue for events that are ticketed on Veenue.
  • No misleading events, prices or giveaways.
  • No spam, chain messages, or repeated promotion in other organizers' comments.

Follow the law

  • No events or content promoting illegal goods or activities.
  • Respect copyright: only post music, images and videos you have the right to use.

Reporting and blocking

If something breaks these guidelines, report it in the app or email support@veenue.io. You can also block someone so you stop seeing them. Reports are confidential.

Our team reviews reports and may remove content, limit features, remove events, or suspend accounts. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to permanent removal. If you think we got it wrong, email support@veenue.io.
