You can ask us to delete your Veenue account and personal data at any time.

How to delete your account

In the Veenue app, go to Profile and choose to delete your account. We'll send a one-time code to your phone number to confirm it's you.

Our team completes deletions within 30 days, and we'll let you know when it's done.

Can't open the app? Email legal@veenue.io with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the phone number on your account, and we'll help.

Before you ask

  • Withdraw any balance. Accounts with money still in them can't be deleted, so request a payout first.
  • Organizers: wait until 5 days after your last event has ended, so guests can still be refunded if needed.
  • Tickets for upcoming events stop working when your account is deleted. Transfer them to a friend first if you'd like.

What happens

  • Your name, photo and phone number are removed or anonymised, and you're signed out everywhere.
  • Your follows, saves, plans, reactions and similar activity are deleted.
  • Events you created that never sold a ticket are deleted.
  • Some records are kept, as the law or basic accounting requires: ticket sales, payments, refunds and payouts are kept in anonymised form for as long as the law requires. We may also keep limited information needed to prevent fraud or resolve a dispute.

Deletion can't be undone. You're welcome to create a new account later.

Only want part of your data removed?

Email legal@veenue.io and tell us what you want removed, for example a photo or a post. You can also delete your own posts and comments in the app.
